I reviewed Finding Claire Fletcher as part of a blog tour. The book pulled me in from the very beginning and I found myself eager to get to the next page to find out what happened. The author did a wonderful job of portraying a tortured female, trapped for ten years by a deviant pervert, who’d kidnapped her from her normal life. I felt sympathy for the female character’s plight. I couldn’t imagine spending a decade being beaten, tortured and raped. The story moved at a wonderful pace, and the characters were very believable. It was far too easy to picture the events of this woman’s life. The suspense of watching Connor trying to find and save Claire is one that had me biting my nails as I continued to scroll page to page. On a scale of one to five, I’d give this a four and a half. Wonderful, believable read. I definitely plan to recommend this story to my friends.
